Westpac rescue helicopter safety investigation complete but report stays secret
An investigation into bullying, sexual harassment and safety at the NSW-based rescue service is complete but its findings remain unreleased.
Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service's board ordered an independent investigation late last year. The investigation looked at workplace safety, governance and culture at its northern NSW operation.
The investigation examined allegations of sexual harassment and bullying. Staff learned this week the investigation is complete.
Staff are now pushing for the full report to be made public. They are worried about the service's future and their own jobs.
NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said the report is now finished. He expects to get it soon.
