Dolphins centre Bostock keen to stay after breakout NRL season
Jack Bostock, 23, signals he wants to sign a long-term contract with the Dolphins despite becoming a free agent from November 1.
Bostock joined the Dolphins on a development deal in 2023 and has become one of the NRL's most improved players. This year he made his State of Origin debut for NSW in the series decider, played on the wing.
Bostock suffered an ACL rupture last season but returned this year, switching to centre where he has performed strongly. Bostock will play in Friday's preliminary final against Sydney Roosters as the Dolphins push for a premiership in only their fourth year.
Dolphins coach Kristian Woolf, building on the foundation laid by Wayne Bennett, has been backing him. Bostock said he would like to stay at the club and that winning a premiership in the Dolphins' first four years would be massive for the whole organisation.
Contract talks with the club are described as having progressed to the pointy end.
