Jordon wins premiership flag six months after father's death
Jordon Partridge won a reserves premiership with Bridgenorth just six months after his father Jeremy died aged 62.
The 28-year-old had played 10 seasons with the Parrots. Jordon Partridge's father's sudden death just six months earlier made the win hit harder.
Jordon said the footy club had just been somewhere to escape and be with his mates. Jordon Partridge's reserves team beat Old Launcestonians by 41 points on Saturday.
Jordon kicked two goals in the match and finished the season with 39 goals for the reserves. His father was a passionate member of the East Launceston Bowls Club, where he played more than 300 games.
