Four extradited to NSW over alleged Sydney contract shootings
Four people from Victoria extradited to NSW after allegedly travelling to carry out contract shootings at two Sydney homes.
Four people from Victoria have been extradited to NSW to face charges over alleged contract shootings in southern Sydney. Two men aged 22 and 23, a 26-year-old woman, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested across Victoria on Thursday.
NSW Police allege the group travelled from Melbourne to carry out the shootings at homes in Hurstville and Turella on 31 August. Police suspect three people broke into a Hurstville house and fired a gun into a wall before leaving in a black sedan.
About an hour later, multiple shots were fired at a parked sedan on Reede Street in Turella. No one was injured in either incident.
The group is expected to be charged at Albury Police Station on Friday.
