Man arrested three times this year for domestic violence and weapons
Aydan Keith Dunn faces 15 new charges after police allegedly found more weapons. This happened despite him being on bail twice already.
Aydan Keith Dunn, 32, appeared in court Friday in handcuffs. Police allegedly found weapons during a raid at his place.
They uncovered a loaded speargun, an extendable baton, four gel blasters, a rifle, firearm parts and ammunition. This is his third arrest this year on domestic violence and firearms charges.
Dunn was first arrested in January after an alleged armed break-in and intimidation. He was arrested again in April after allegedly threatening a 19-year-old woman with a firearm.
Despite being released on bail twice, he faced strict conditions. These included reporting to police and not contacting witnesses, plus a $2000 surety.
A judge noted he had also broken his bail by failing to report to police before 8pm. His bail has now been revoked.
He faces court in Newcastle next week on the new charges. He also faces court in November on the April matters.
