Two teenagers charged with murder in Sydney mistaken-identity shooting
Two teenagers aged 14 and 16 were charged with murder in a Sydney mistaken-identity shooting.
A university student was killed at a Glen Alpine home on September 1. Attackers targeted the wrong house.
Two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, were arrested following search warrants at Fairfield properties and charged with murder. The teenagers also face charges of taking part in a criminal group, possessing an illegal firearm, and stealing vehicles.
The 14-year-old was also charged with damage by fire. Detectives say the teens staged vehicles and supplied a weapon for the gunman.
Both were refused bail. They must appear in children's court.
